More than three times this week, I have found myself googling the definition of the word “verbose”.
Google is even more handy, taking the search even deeper with the prompting question that many others have apparently also had, “What does it mean if someone is verbose?” to which Collins Dictionary responds with, “using or containing too many words; wordy; long-winded; prolix.”
Wordy.
using or containing TOO many words…
wordy. wordy. wordy.
I have been tossing and tasting these words all week long, like a mixed green salad I’ve been deciding if I like the taste of.
